Primarily a defensive defenceman who can also play the point on the power play. Has an active stick in the defensive zone and possesses a very hard shot. Has good lateral movement, and plays hard and agressive physical game in front of his net as well as along the boards and in the corners. Skating is very good A very coachable player, takes directions well, is always willing to learn to improve himself, and works out very hard off the ice.
